Pending 11 pc DA to be distributed in MP
Bhopal, May 6 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced to provide pending 11 per cent dearness allowance in the next two months including five per cent for June paid in July and six per cent for July paid in August.
According to official information, Mr Chouhan was addressing the 'Sneh Sammelan' of the Madhya Pradesh Karmachari Mahasangh in the Rajya Mantralaya here.
Mr Chouhan said an examination would be organised for regularising 'gurujis'. 'Gurujis' working for more than three years would get the benefit of salary hike and their appointment would be made at a minimum of Rs 2,875.
'Gurujis' would get 13 days' casual leave like other government employees. Female 'gurujis' would be eligible for three months' maternity leave and male 'gurujis' for 15 days' paternity leave.
He said directions had been issued that desirous women and handicap teachers be transferred and eligible contract teachers be appointed as teachers by June 30 providing them benefit with retrospective effect from April 1, 2007.
Mr Chouhan announced renaming of post of primary health worker as rural health convenor, whose registration with para medical council would begin before June 30.
On the demand for providing benefit of second promotion of teachers from 1999 instead of 2003, he said he would take a decision soon after the presenting the matter in cabinet meeting.
The Chief Minister said meeting of recommendatory bodies for resolving problems of state employees would be organised every three month. The General Administration Department would issue special directions in this regard.
