DMK to support Congress in K'taka elections
Chennai, May 6 (UNI) The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) will support the Congress in the Karnataka Assembly elections, DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi said today.
The decision followed a letter to him by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President Mallikarjuna Kharge, seeking support of the DMK in the state.
Replying to Mr Kharge, the DMK President said the DMK office bearers in Karnataka would ensure that partymen fully supported the Congress candidates and vote for them in the party's 'hand' symbol, a party release here said.
