3 crushed as car hits Chauri-Choura Express

Allahabad, May 6 (UNI) At least three people were run over and killed, while two others sustained serious injuries after a car hit running Chauri-Choura Express at an unmanned railway crossing in Saray Inayat area here today.

The accident occurred at Kuandeeh situated railway crossing, where the car dashed against the train, enroute from Gorakhpur to Allahabad, police said.

Dablu (26) and Anil (28) of Allapur died on the spot, while another succumbed later in hospital.

Two others were covalescing in hospital.
