Youth delegation from Pakistan on five-day India visit

New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) A delegation of 24 young activists and students from Pakistan will arrive in India on a goodwill mission today.

The delegation members, representing Indo-Pak Youth Peace Forum, would be in the national capital for five days.

The idea of Indo Pak Youth Peace Forum (IPYPF) was generated during the World Youth Peace Summit by Indo Pak delegates representing youth leadership of both the countries gathered at Bangkok in February 2004. IPYPF supports initiatives and generates awareness about peace.

It is a forum where young leaders, thinkers and activist meet to find youthful solution to the conflicts in India and Pakistan as well as foster peace initiatives to consolidate democracy.

IPYPF tries to build the capacity of young people to understand the nature of conflict, identifying their role and taking positive actions for bridging the gaps.
