Adampur, May 5 (UNI) Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) leader Bhajan Lal today claimed that his rival candidates in the assembly byelection here had ''no base as they have never come to this area in the past.'' Addressing an election meeting at Mangali village, the veteran politician said, '' I have family relation with the electorate of this constituency. Indian National Lok Dal leaders never came to this place when they were in power''.

Sharing the stage, the HJC chief and son of Bhajan Lal Kuldip Bishnoi said, ''By disqualifying three legislators who supported me, chief minister has landed himself in trouble. If Congress were so popular and the government had actually done development work, then where is the need for the chief minister to run across the constituencies.''
