Unitech arm gets spectrum for Orissa circle

New Delhi, May 5: Realty firm Unitech Ltd today said the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) has allocated the spectrum to its telecom arm for Orissa cirlce.

''The Department of Telecommunications has vide its letter dated April 24, 2008 allotted to our subsidiary company, 4.4 MHz of spectrum in 1800 MHz GSM band in respect of Orissa Service Area,'' a company said in a statement.

The country's second largest listed developer had received a telecom licence to offer mobile services in all the 22 telecom circles in India.
