Two persons drowned as boat capsizes in Phalguni River

Mangalore, May 5 (UNI) Two persons were drowned when their boat capsized in Phalguni River at Pachamogaru near Siddakatte in Bantwal yesterday.

According to police, the tragedy occurred when a group of people were crossing the river. While others swam to safety, the two who did not know swimming met with the water grave. They had gone to a village to attend a Urs, the police added.
