Strive for party's success in bypoll, APCC Chief tells cadre

Hyderabad, May 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President D Srinivas today called upon partymen to strive for the success of party candidates in the bypoll to 18 Assembly and four Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.

In a statement here, he appealed to partymen to follow the norms stipulated by the EC in the election campaign and at the time of filing of nominations.

It was the responsibility of the members of the ruling party to abide by the rules and regulations of the EC in a democratic manner, he said.

He also advised party workers to submit the details of election expenditure along with other papers to the Returning Officers on daily-basis and also report any case of violation of EC guidelines by other party candidates during the campaign period.
