Sri Lanka offers new Island Break packages to Indian visitors

Mumbai, May 5 (UNI) A new series of holiday packages called Island Breaks is being promoted by SriLankan Holidays, the tourist arm of Sri Lanka Airlines, to woo Indian visitors.

SriLankan Holidays in a release issued here stated that the package offered two nights and three days, which included airfare, star class hotel accommodation with an international buffet breakfast, hotel transfers and all fuel taxes. Packages starts at Rs 10,499 to Rs 10,999 per person from Trivandrum, Bangalore and Hyderabad, from Cochin it starts at Rs 12,499 and from Mumbai Rs 14,999.

SriLankan Holidays and MICE General Manager Amith Sumanapala stated that the packages had been worked out in such a way that it offered great memories. Mr Sumanapala added ''Sri Lanka is a hot spot of the meetings industry and we are already attracting a lot of interest from businesses in India, the Far East and the West Asia. Most recently representatives of Dubai's Airport Operating Committee (AOC), the individuals responsible for the smooth operation of Dubai International Airport flew here for their annual fellowship and we are happy to say they thoroughly enjoyed their island break.''
