Speaker reserves verdict on disqualification of MLAs

Hyderabad, May 5 (UNI) The hearing on the disqualification of ten dissident TRS MLAs was completed after the State Assmebly Speaker K R Suresh Reddy announced that he reserved the verdict on the issue.

The counsels of TRS demanded that ten dissident MLAs should be disqualified under the Anti Defection Law, as they were working against the party ideology.

Speaking to newspersons here, TRS floor leader Vijayarama Rao said the party would approach the High Court if the Speaker failed to render justice to the TRS. He alleged that the Speaker was delaying to deliver the verdict on the MLAs' disqualification.
