Self-styled Maoist sub-zonal commander arrested

Garwah, May 5 (UNI) A self-styled sub-zonal commander of proscribed CPI(Maoist) was arrested from Pipri village under Nagar Untari police station in the district today.

Police said acting on a tip off, security forces conducted raids in the area and arrested the ultra.

The Maoist was identified as Nirbhay Singh, police said adding that he was involved in naxal activities for the last six years.
