Rs 6.28 crore allocated for Yamuna Nagar: DC

Yamuna Nagar, May 5 (UNI) An amount of Rs 6.28 Crore has been allocated under the district plan for Yamuna Nagar district for 2008-2009, Deputy Commissioner Nitin Yadav said here today.

The rural and urban share of the district plan would be Rs 439.60 lakh and Rs. 188.40 lakh, respectively, whereas the Scheduled Castes share for rural area would be Rs 117.60 lakh, he said.

Mr Yadav said a sum of Rs 50.40 lakh would be spent on the welfare of urban Scheduled Castes and an amount of Rs 22.85 lakh would be spent on the education sector whereas a sum of Rs 5 lakh had been earmarked for promotion of ITIs.
