Nitish talks to Maharashtra CM for security of Hindi speaking people
Patna, May 05 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today talked to Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and requested him to ensure safety of life and property of Hindi speaking people in Maharashtra.
Mr Kumar also asked Mr Deshmukh to take stringent action against president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Raj Thackeray for his fresh outburst against the Hindi speaking people.
Mr Deshmukh assured Mr Kumar that state government would take all steps to protect the life and property of Hindi speaking people in Maharashtra. He also informed the Bihar CM that Mumbai police commissioner was investigating into the matter and assured that strict action would be taken against Mr Thackeray accordingly.
