Man sentenced to life in double murder case

Thrissur, May 5 (UNI) Thrissur Fast Track Judge P K Haneefa today sentenced a 34-year-old man to rigorous life imprisonment in a double murder case.

Thoundungal Shibhu was convicted of killing Stationery Merchant Varghese (47) and his son Raigan (19) following an altercation on April 23, 2002, at Perambra in Kodakara. Shibhu surrendered before the court after the incident.
