Krishna blames BJP-JD(S) for mid-term poll in Karnataka

Mandya, May 5 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Senior Congress leader S M Krishna today blamed the previous BJP-JD(S) coalition government for imposing the forthcoming mid-term Assembly polls on the people of the state.

Addressing an election rally here, he alleged that power hungry leaders of both the parties not only failed to deliver the goods, but also forced the state to go for an election again prematurely.

''After experiencing an unstable and a non-functioning coalition government, people are now looking to Congress to provide a stable government,'' he claimed.

Mr Krishna appealed to the voters to vote for development of the state and a stable government to meet their aspirations.
