K V Subhaiah appointed convenor of JD(U) in AP

New Delhi, May 5 (UNI) Mr Kanakanala Venkata Subhaiah has been appointed the Convenor of Janata Dal (United) Andhra Pradesh, by party president Sharad Yadav.

Mr Subhaiah has been active in student politics and associated with socialist ideology. He has been the Secretary General of the Janata Dal (U) of the State and has also been the General Secretary of the party.

Mr Yadav said that under the able and dynamic leadership of Mr Subhaiah the JD(U) would contest local bodies elections and as many by-elections in the state, he said.
