General Motors selects Ranal Group for processing and design

Bangalore, May 5 (UNI) Automobile major General Motors has selected Ranal Group, a leading provider of engineering services for its 2008-11 processing design initiative.

After a stiff selection process and evaluation, Ranal Group was chosen for its quality experience and pricing objectives among many others set up by GM manufacturing and purchasing, according to a release here today.

The Detroit based Ranal Group, which has its design centres in Bangalore and Pune, is global strategic partner with GM, focussed on executing world class manufacturing systems.

Thus Ranal would now get the opportunity to work in concert with GM to develop cutting edge manufacturing processess and tool designs.
