Foundation stone for HQ of ADG, BSF laid in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, May 8 (UNI) Director General of Border Security Force, A K Mitra, today laid the foundation stone of Headquarters of BSF Additional Director General here.

The area of this Headquarters falls from Runn of Kuchh in Gujarat, deserts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and LOC in Srinagar along the International Border with Pakistan.

During the foundation stone laying ceremony, retired officers of BSF, Dignitaries of sister agencies, civil department and serving officers were also present.

Later, Addl DG (West) BSF, Chandigarh also spoke to the media persons and shared new advancement and modernisation plans of the force.
