Film Producer's office attacked, burgled in city

Hyderabad, May 5 (UNI) A day after Telugu Film Producer Nikhil Reddy sought police protection for himself and family members, his office was attacked by unidentified people and burgled in the wee hours today.

Mr Reddy's manager Chakravarti complained to the police that some miscreants entered the office, damaged the furniture and escaped with TV set and other documents.

Based on the complaint, police visited the office and are investigating the matter.

Earlier, Mr Reddy had claimed that he had received threat calls from gangster and mafia don Chota Rajan's aide Aziz Reddy, who was killed in the alleged police encounter on April 30, several times to settle financial dispute with Abhinav Reddy, the co-producer of his yet-to-be-released movie 'Angrez II.' Mr Reddy has released his phone conversation CDs with the gangster and Mafia don Chota Rajan's aide Aziz Reddy yesterday.

He also urged the police to provide protection as his family members and himself were facing life threat from Abhinav Reddy.
