CEPC delegation for Chile in Kerala

Kochi, May 5: A four-member delegation led by Cashew Export Promotion Council of India (CEPC) Chairman P Bharathan Pillai will attend the 27th World Nut and Dried Fruit Congress to be held at Santiago in Chile from May nine to 11.

Council Secretary K Sasi Varma and Members Nowfal Sala and A A Salam were part of the delgation, according to an official release here today.

The visit is intended to take forward the Council's initiative to form a 'Global Cahew Alliance' involving India, Brazil and Vietnam to undertake joint promotional programmes for cashew in global markets.
