3 killed in jeep-motorcycle collision

Bhopal, May 5 (UNI) Three people were killed on the spot when a motorcycle collided headon with a jeep in Misrod area on the city outskirts late last night, police said.

Few people from Rajgarh were on their way to Hoshangabad to take a bath in the Narmada river on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya when the jeep boarded by them collided with the two-wheeler.

Two people-Akhilesh Sharma(30) and Kishan Meena(45)- riding the two-wheeler and another aboard the jeep, Ram Prakash (45) were killed. Ram Prakash suffered head injuries after his head hit the jeep's window, the police added.
