Raj should specify who are Marathi: Swamy

Mumbai, May 4 (UNI) President of Janta Party Dr Subramanian Swamy today said Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray should clearly specify who are the Marathi, as according to him, Mumbai belongs to only Marathi people.

Dr Swamy said this, while speaking on the occasion of release of the book 'The British Mutiny of 1857' by Pankaj Udhas in a function organised by Abhinav Bharat Trust here.

''If non-Maharashtrians are asked by Thackeray to leave Maharashtra, then the same rule should be applicable all over India,'' Dr Swamy added.

He was reacting to a speech made by the MNS chief here yesterday.

''Pandit Jawharlal Nehru became the Prime Minister of our country, because of a mistake committed by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, but we should not allow the culture of adopting Nehru family to head the country,'' Dr Swamy said.
