MECON signs MoU with GOIC for mutual collaborations
New Delhi, May 4 (UNI) Public sector Metallurgical&Engineering Consultants Ltd (MECON) and Gulf Organisation for Industrial consulting (GOIC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work together for providing continuing collaboration opportunities in the Gulf region.
The field of collaboration includes iron and steel, non-ferrous metallurgical plants, coal and chemical plants, refractory plants, power plants, general engineering industries, oil and gas and petrochemical industries, environmental engineering, mining and mineral.
The MoU provides broad framework for cooperation between the two organisations that will be mutually beneficial.
It was signed recently in Mumbai by Dr Ahmed Khalil Al-Mutawa, the Secretary General of GOIC and Mr Drona Rath,Chairman-cum-Managing Director of MECON Ltd.
GOIC is an organisation founded in 1976 by the Arab Gulf States with their mandate to foster Industrial Development across the GCC region.
