Huge cache of arms and ammunition recovered in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 4 (UNI) A large cache of arms and ammunition was recovered by security forces from a hideout in the north Kashmir today, official sources said.
They said security forces conducted a search operation at Palhalan, Pattan, in Baramulla district following a tip off that militants had stored arms and ammunition in a house.
During the operation, security forces unearthed a hideout in the house and recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including one ak rifle, two magazines and 30 rounds of ammunition.
No one has been arrested so far, they said.
