Gold chain snatched from woman on Pooja Express
Panipat, May 4 (UNI)Three unidentified miscreants snatched a gold chain from a woman passenger tarvelling in the Jammu bound Pooja Express when the train made an unscheduled halt on the outter signal of Babur Railway station near Panipat in the wee hours today.
According to police sources when the woman's husband, Vishnu Mohan of Hyderabad tried to challenge the miscreants who were standing on the tracks near the compartment, they pelted stones at him and escaped.
The husband of the woman, who sustained minor injuries due to the stone pelting has lodged a complaint at the GRP post at Ambala Cantt against the unidentified miscreants.
The couple had boarded the train from Delhi for Jammu.
