Teenaged JBT student kills self due to exam phobia

New Delhi, May 03 (UNI) A 18-year-old student of Junior Basic Teachers' (JBT) training allegedly committed suicide today due to exam stress in Dabri area of south-west Delhi.

Sonia, a first year student of JBT, was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her residence by her mother when she returned from market at about 1200 hrs, police said.

In her suicide note, Sonia said as she was not well prepared for the exams and did not want to fail, she was taking this extreme step.

Her JBT exams were to start soon, police added.
