Stop physical test for police recruitment: AP CM
Hyderabad, May 3 (UNI) Expressing concern over the sudden death of three youngsters during a running test conducted for the recruitment of police constables, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today instructed officials concerned to stop the physical test.
According to an official release here, Dr Reddy ordered a comprehensive inquiry into the entire episode and wanted a detailed report to be submitted in a couple of days.
He said the running test should have been avoided in the humid conditions even if it was part of the recruitment.
The recruitments were held at Warangal, Khammam and Vijayawada.
