Sikhs celebrate 445th birthday of Guru Arjan Dev in Kerala

Kochi, May 3 (UNI) The small Sikh community in Kerala celebrated the 445th birthday of Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth Sikh Guru, with religious fervour.

Sikh devotees gathered at the Gurudwara Siri Guru Singh Sabha, the only 'gurudwara' in Kerala, here last evening.

Religious hymns, 'Gurbani Kirtan' by children, 'Ardas' and 'Sampati' marked the special prayers, which were followed by 'langar.' UNI ARC GM LS BST2209
