Rs 650 cr loan for kharif

Raipur, May 3 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh government has set a target of providing loan of Rs 650 crore through various cooperative organisations in the next kharif season.

Official sources said that Rs 38 lakh of loan had already been distributed to the farmers at 6 per cent interest.

Loan upto Rs 3 lakh was being provided through credit card.

There was a provision for providing 60 per cent loan as cash and 40 per cent as fertiliser and seeds, sources added.
