Mah: Pedestrian hit by bike dead; accused booked

Mumbai, May 3: A 28-year-old pedestrian was killed after he was knocked down by a bike at Sion here.

The deceased, Ashok Kumar Dhobi (28), was going home at 1345 hrs yesterday when Johnethan Joseph Serav (26) who was driving a bike, hit him. Mr Dhobi suffered head injury, he was rushed to Sion hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries late last night.

Police have booked Serav for rash and negligence driving, police added.
