JK: HM ultra among 2 killed in Chhatroo
Jammu, May 3: Two people, including a surrendered Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) militant, were killed by some unidentified people in Chhatroo area of mountainous Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir today, official sources said.
The victims were identified as Inayat Ahmed, the surrendered HM militant, and Bashir Ahmed, a state government employee in Public and Health Engineering Department, the sources said.
Reportedly, Bashir Ahmed's son was also a militant and killed in an operation by security forces a long time ago.
''Both HM militant and Bashir Ahmed, who was an over ground worker (OGW), were killed by some unidentified militants in Kuchhal area of Tehsil Chhatroo,'' the sources told UNI.
