Fishing boat capsizes; fishermen rescued

Kozhikode, May 3 (UNI) Three fishermen, who ventured into the sea for fishing from Beypore fishing harbour, near here, were rescued, after their boat capsized at Chaliyar today.

The boat capsized after hitting a rock near Chaliyar area, official sources said.

However, the fishermen -- boat owner Sahadevan (50), Sinju (25), both hailing from Puthiyangadi, and Sreelesh (27) of Vellayil -- were rescued by other fishermen.
