Fake currency racket unearthed, 2 held

Behraich, May 3 (UNI) Police today busted a gang, involved in the illicit business of fake currency, with the arrest of its two members possessing counterfeit notes worth Rs one lakh here.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajesh Morak told UNI ''the Special Operation Group(SOG) of Uttar Pradesh Police with the help of local cops arrested two youths from a market.'' Rs one lakh fake notes were seized from their possession, the SP added.

A search to nab other five members of the syndicate was on.
