UP: Wanted criminal held in Saharanpur

Saharanpur, May 2: Special Operation Group (SOG) of Uttar Pradesh police in assistance with local sleuths apprehended a wanted criminal, carrying a bounty of Rs 20,000 on his head, from railway station here.

Saleem alias Kala was facing charges in 22 cases of heinous crimes viz loot, murder and dacoity, police said.

Illicit weapons were also seized from his possession.
