Three held for school boy's murder in HP
Hamirpur, May 2 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh police today claimed to have arrested three people for the murder of a 14-year-old school boy in Hamirpur district of the state last month, district SP Asif Jalal said.
All the three absconding culprits were arrested from Bohan Bhatti village of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab, he said at a press conference here.
Munish Chauhan, a tenth standard student, was abducted on April 17, while he was returning from his school and his body was recovered almost a week after his kidnapping.
Mr Jalal said a case under Section 302 of the India Penal Code (IPC) had been registered against them.
''The arrested people have confessed that they had committed the crime,'' he said.
