Khar, May 2 : Maulvi Faqir Muhammad, the deputy head of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has warned national newspapers not to publish women pictures, which offend them.
"I warn newspapers which are publishing photos [to stop] and have set a two-week deadline, otherwise we will boycott and take action against these papers," The Daily Times quoted Muhammad, as saying.
National papers like Aaj-Kal and Express were particularly targeted.
Muhammad, however, did not disclose the kind of action the Taliban would take after the deadline expires.
