Mother, son and daughter commit suicide

Bangalore, May 2 (UNI) Poverty has forced a Mother, her teen-aged Son and daughter to allegedly commit suicide by hanging themselves at Godavanakunte village in Tumkur District of Karnataka.

Police said that Lakshmamma (36), her son Nanjunda (16) and daughter Nagaveni (21) hanged themselves to a hook with saree on April 30 and it came to light today when their second daughter Manjula, who was married and staying with her husband, came to visit them.

Manjula had earlier came to visit them on April 30 but returned when nobody opened the door. But when today also there was no responce from inside and bad smell coming from the house she informed the police and when the doors were opened three bodies were seen hanging.

Poverty might be the reason behind the trio taking extreme step in the life, police added.
