K'taka II PUC results: South Canara emerge winners

Bangalore, May 2: Girls have again outsdone boys in the Second Pre-University Exams held during March 2008.

According to SG Hegde, Commissioner (Pre-University Education), South Canara has topped the II PUC exams with 76.72 pc while Bidar is the least scorer with 16.57 pc. Of the total 5,72,197 students who appeared for the exams 2,36,364 students have passed and the State overall pass percentage is 41.31.
