Kansai Nerolac Paints registers 9.5 pc growth

Chennai, May 2: Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited has registered a growth of 9.5 per cent at Rs 377.88 crore for the fourth quarter of the just-ended fiscal, compared to Rs 345.06 crore in the same period last year. The Profit before Depreciation, Interest and Tax (PBDIT) posted for the fourth quarter was Rs 40.51 crore as against Rs 36.23 crore in the corresponding period last year, up by 11.8 per cent.

On cumulative basis for the full year, the gross sales registered was worth Rs 1,613.33 crore, an increase of 8.7 per cent from Rs 1,483.86 crore in the previous year. The company had posted PBDIT of Rs 186.55 crore in the fiscal, as against Rs 171.44 crore in the previous year, up by 8.8 per cent. The profit before tax for the year was Rs 170.39 crore, compared to Rs 160.97 crore last year, a growth of 5.9 per cent, and PAT was Rs 119.79 crore as against Rs 107.66 crore in the previous year.
