Grand reception for Pondy Health Minister

Puducherry, May 2 (UNI) A grand reception awaits Puducherry Health Minsiter E Valsaraj who will be visiting his home town tomorrow, after Madras High Court had acquited him from a case.

According to an official release here today, Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Planning V Narayansamy and PCC(I) President A V Subramanian would visit Mahe Region tomorrow for the first time after assuming office.

A public meeting would be organised at the Mahe Municipal Grounds on the occasion, it said.

Earlier, the court had acquited Mr Valsaraj and nine others from a case.

Ministers Vaithilingam, Shajahan, Malladi Krishna Rao and Kandasamy and a host of legislators would also attend the meeting.

A grand reception would be accorded to the dignitories at Poozhithala, bordering Mahe, it added.
