BJP's strike call evokes mixed response in Rajasthan

Jaipur, May 2 (UNI) The bandh call given by the ruling BJP in Rajasthan to protest against steep rise in prices of essential commodities evoked mixed response today.

The strike evoked good response in the walled city areas here with most of the shops and business establishments remaining closed.

A report from Jodhpur said most of the shops were closed in old city while strike evoked poor response in outer areas.

The bandh was peaceful as no untoward incident reported from any part of the state, police said.
