Bengali vernacular journalist Buddha Shankar Goswami dead
Kolkata, May 2(UNI) Buddha Shankar Goswami, a senior journalist of Bengali vernacluar daily Aajkaal, suffering from cancer, died at a city hospital today. He was 48.
Goswami, who had been suffering for a long time, had been admitted to hospital on Monday last with breathlessness.
He started his career in All India Radio and worked with few other news papers as a free lance reporter before finally joining Aajkaal as a staffer in 1992.
He was later posted in Agartala as the Tripura bureau chief of Aajkaal.
He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
