32 passengers injured as bus falls into canal
Vijayawada, May 2 (UNI) About 32 passengers were injured, six of them critically, when an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus fell into a dry canal after hitting a bridge at Gudavalli, near here, early today.
Police said the mishap occurred when the luxury bus was proceeding to Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The injured were admitted to the Government General Hospital here, where the condition of six, including a pregnant woman, was reported to be critical.
