Two killed, five injured in road mishap
Surat, May 1 (UNI) Two people were killed on the spot and five others injured in a tempo-truck collision at Talad Village in Olpad taluka in Surat District of Gujarat today.
Police sources said the tempo collided head-on with a truck, carrying bricks, this morning.
The driver and loader of the tempo were killed, while five labourers in the truck were injured.
The deceased were identified as Arun Patil and Hoshala Prasad, the sources said.
The injured were rushed to the New Civil Hospital, Surat, where all of them were discharged after treatment.
