TTD donates diamond studded gold crown

Tirumala, May 01: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) donated Rs 71-lakh worth dimond studded gold crown to goddess Gangamma in Gangamma temple here today.

TTD sources said the golden crown weiging more than 5.3 kg, including 12-lakh worth diamonds was handed over to Gangamma temple in-charge Sudakar Reddy, by TTD Chairman B Karunakara Reddy and Executive Officer K V ramanachry in the temple.

Earlier, Mr Karunakara Reddy had taken out gold crown in a procession from Bedi Anjaneulu temple and kept it at the feet of Lord Balaji. The temple priests performed pujas to the crown.
