Three dreaded criminals arrested in Gopalganj

Gopalganj, May 1 (UNI) Bihar police today arrested three dreaded criminals from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh (UP) at Khajuraha village under Bhure police station area in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, sleuths of local police swooped down on a hideout of the criminals in the village and arrested them. A countrymade pistol and several rounds of live cartridges were also seized from them.

The arrested criminals belonged to Gorakhpur Cantonment in U P and several criminal cases were lodged against them in Gorakhpur and Deoria districts, police stated.
