Sampat (INLD) files for Adampur bypolls

Hisar, May 1 (UNI) Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) candidate in the Adampur byelection Prof Sampat Singh filed his nomination papers in the presence of party supremo Om Prakash Chautala.

Party Secretary General Ajay Chautala and the chief of party's state unit Ashok Arora were also present on the occasion.

Later, addressing the party workers, The INLD chief said,''The Congress party is an organisation of the rich and every time the Congress comes to power the farmers suffer.

In his speech, Mr Sampat Singh declared that he was fighting the bypolls ''to avenge the defeat of Devi Lal whom Bhajan Lal had stabbed in the back.'' UNI XC JN BP RL PM1945
