Ranjit (Cong) files papers for Adampur bypolls

Hisar, May 1 (UNI) Ranjit Singh, Congress candidate in the Adampur byelection, filed his nomination papers here today in presence of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and HPCC president Phul Chand Mullana among others.

Before the filing of Mr Singh's nomination papers, Mr Hooda while addressing Congress rally asserted that he himeself belonged to Adampur as his family lived in village Ludas in this constituency.

Urging the The voters of Adampur to ''vote fearlessly in the byelection'' Mr Hooda said the politics of 'collusion' between Chautala and Bhajan Lal has been exposed. " Addressing the rally, Mr Ranjit Singh said ''Congress was popular among the masses on the basis of development work done by it'' and asserted that he was sure of their support.
