Man pulls train with his tuft in West Bengal

Siliguri, May1 : In a unique attempt to enter the record books, a man successfully pulls an engine and three coaches of a toy train with his hair tuft in West Bengal. Driven by extreme passion for creating records, Sailen Roy, a 41-year old driver working with community police service in Siliguri, pulled the 35-ton engine and three coaches of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Toy train with his hair.

The coaches of the toy train had no passengers when Roy pulled it.

As he got ready to pull the train along the tracks on a flat stretch, the enthusiastic onlookers were left aghast.

"I could not pull it for too long, but managed to pull it for 10-12 feet. In 2000, I have done acts like lifting 20 kg weights with moustache, pulled one AC bus and a truck. In ropeway, instead of using rope to cross, I used my pony tail to cover a distance of 300 feet," said Roy.

Roy is now aiming to get his name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The enthusiastic driver believes in breaking his own records, as is evident from his earlier attempts of pulling a truck and two buses with his ponytail.
