Patriotic song 'Jai Hind' released
Mumbai, May 1 (UNI) A patriotic album 'Jai Hind', created by artistes from the Indian music world, was released at a function here.
The album, which was released yesterday, has been conceptualised by TV artiste Durga Jasraj, and highlights the diversity of India in terms of language, culture, race and musical styles.
Musicians, writers and singers like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Javed Akhtar, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and others have lent their creativity in making the album.
''The album will inspire the Indian youth to come forward in nation building exercise,'' Ms Jasraj said.
The audio visual film that has been shot all over India from Ladakh in the north to Kanyakumari in the south and from Rajasthan in the West to Manipur in the east, includes the likes of Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid, Dhanraj Pillay, Bhaichung Bhutia, Naren Kartikeyan and Vishwanathan Anand.
